A New Chapter

Having a hard time adjusting to all 3 of my kids in school all day...I've been looking forward to this for years, but now that it's here I'm bored. Not quite sure what to do! The kids get home, eat a snack and run outside to play with friends. I guess I need a hobby??

Wow I haven't posted forever! School is going well for the kids and I can't believe it's already February! I volunteer in the boys classes 1-2 times a month and it's fun and interesting to see what's going on in their class and see how they act at school. We have moved to our new home and are enjoying having a little bit more space. The basement is unfinished and we love it! The kids skateboard, play basketball, set up train tracks, rip stick, and Bree dances all the time. Bree even taught me how to rip stick! Zach has been enjoying Jr. jazz and his last game is next week. My boys will be excited to start up soccer again in the Spring! Competition season is about to start for Bree and I am so excitied. Her dances are all great and can't wait to see her perform!

It's been forever since I have posted because my laptop has been broken. Things around here are plugging along as usual. We had a fun summer going to Seven Peaks, and going to the pool a lot. We are back to school now and have already finished our 3rd week back! I can't believe that my baby has started Kindergarten!

Our 1st Broken Arm

Poor Zach has been through a lot this week! He fell going down a hill on his heely's. A rock got jammed up in the wheel and caused the fall. He was pretty scraped up when he got down to the daycare where I was working. I didn't think it could be broken because he wasn't crying. He was really babying the arm and acting funny and not like himself, so we guessed that it was broken. By the time we got him home it was really swollen.

We went to the ER and were so freaked out by everyone there that thought they had the swine flu!! After a long wait, we finally got the x-ray and confirmed that it was broken. They put a soft cast on it because of the swelling. The next day we took him to a specialist that said it needed to be straightened out. So...the next day after that we had to go into the hospital for "surgery" They treated it just like a surgery because he was going under anesthesia, but he was only out for about 15 minutes. He did really well, but the anethesia made him pretty sick and tired. After a full afternoon resting and a good night sleep he went to school today and I haven't received a call to come get him, so that's a good sign!!!

Fun at the Park

There was finally a sunny day to go to the park and we were all excited. Well, the sun was out, but it was still super windy and freezing. Mother nature needs to make up her mind! Is it winter or spring?

Easter fun!

I waited until the Saturday before Easter to get anything....What was I thinking? I went to WalMart and there wasn't even a carton of eggs left! So I went to Harmons and they had plenty of stuff, but I was scared there for a minute! We had a great Sunday with lots of family time and yummy food!

Kids being kids...rolling eachother up like burritos! The last pic is of Bree with some of her dance friends at her last dance competition. She did a great job and I loved watching her dance. She loves to perform!
